Following on from the success of Weirdub’s “Recreational” album, Green Queen Music are continuing the theme of polishing up and re-releasing choice musical gems that are currently unavailable in the market place.Luna Rossa is the original soundtrack to Antonio Capuano’s film of the same name.

The film, which was originally presented at the Venice Film Festival in 2001Composed primarily by Dr Cat & Polcari, Luna Rossa also boasts a fine collection of collaborations:
Raiz former vocalist and front man of Italian cult band Almamegretta.Soul diva Zstar adds her rich tones and vocal punch in a special guest appearance on ‘No pressure’.This release also features a number of remixes previously commissioned from other artists including one by Gaudi and another by Ashtech.Luna Rossa is a worldbeat album with a twist… Musically it’s a great candidate for re-release as it’s emotive and scenic qualities make it a timeless work.. it has, if anything, come of age and is almost more ‘now’ than it was ‘then’…..
